SOLO SURFACE TEMPERATURE
Solo was designed to permit application in Nursing homes, Creches, where the conventional danger of burns can not be permitted. The image to the right shows the heat exchanger having absolutely no contact with the external surfaces. When inactive, hot water continues to flow through the heat exchanger as a patented feature of Solo allows totally valveless operation.
In this mode, zero convention occurs, however, a small amount of radiant heat is emitted form the heat exchange surface.
While this is negligible from a heating point of view, the exhaust grille canes may sometimes become warmer than usual, but this will not result in any burns due to hand contact.
Like any heating device, Solo should not be sat on, as it is neither advisable, nor was Solo designed to be load bearing.
